We are a firm of accountants run by Martin Ball, who has over 40 years’ experience working in senior financial positions. He can offer this same experience to help you run your business.

We provide all the normal services expected from a firm of accountants but in addition we spend time to understand you and your business and so can tailor our service to match your exact requirements.

Services

Financial Control

We offer the option of working at your premises carrying out all aspects of accounting from book-keeping though to credit control, cash management, budgeting and reporting. This service can be combined with our year end package or we are happy to work with your appointed external auditors/accountants.

Year End Package

For limited companies we will prepare your year-end accounts and corporation tax return. Once we have discussed these with you and you are happy with the final version we will file your return with Companies House and HMRC. We will also prepare a self-assessment return for the shareholders and directors and advise you when all taxes are due. For sole traders or partnerships we will prepare the year end accounts and appropriate tax returns.

Quarterly book-keeping

We will collect your paperwork at a time to suit you and produce a VAT return and set of accounts. With effect form 1 April 2019 HMRC require all VAT registered business to file data online under the new ‘making tax digital’ regulations. Our work is fully compliant with this new legislation thus taking away any concerns you may have over these changes.

Payroll/CIS

We can run your payroll and if you are involved in the construction industry deal with all aspects of CIS returns. We will produce payslips, advise you of any PAYE tax payable and if required we can update your work place pension provider (NEST etc).

Start ups

Becoming self-employed can be quite daunting. We can advise you of your various options and how to stay compliant with HMRC. If appropriate we can register your own limited company.
